So I was watching Speed Channel and they had a review of the M3...

..and they had two guys (both professional race-car drivers) drive two M3s on the same track at once. One was a SMG-equipped M3 and the other was the traditional 6-spd M3.

And wow, you should have seen their expressions as they were on the track. They were truly having fun! Not some promotional look (which the show was) but the two drivers were geniunely acting like little kids who get high on candy. And it just struck a chord with me..I don't know why..but it did. For some reason, I could relate to them, and I have never even driven a BMW!

And it was fun to watch them dance around on the track with two beautiful M3s! I love watching tv like this, its not competition, but just people having fun with cars! Hopefully more of this will be on tv.

btw, on Discovery they had a show called 'Monster Garage' where they built a street-legal New Beetle that can be a swamp boat as well...it was a real clean conversion/modification.

also...I saw a Lamborghini Countach in person on the road today...first time I've seen a Countach!! <this was in Mississagua for you Toronto peeps>

What colour was it?

Every day on my way to work I drive by a tiny tiny 2 car, glass showroom that had a 911, and a Lambo Countach.
It has never left for months, and today it was gone... this is Belleville, btw. Which is probably... 2 hours away depending on traffic speed :)

d r o o oooool SWEET RIDE... even if it isn't yours. ;)

Love the color, too---my fav. :D

Good thing I don't have that 3 though. I'd surely kill myself (hopefully not others!) testing the limits of German engineering... and my stupidity and immaturity when behind the wheel of such a tempting, eager beast. Yup, it'd be too much of a good thing. :(

Back to the topic. That does sound refreshing, mAdD INDIAN. Now I just need cable, satellite or something...

Speakin' of... I got "The Hire" DVD from BMWfilms with all those short films/the director's comments/etc. at Goodwill for a little under a book after discount + taxes about a month ago. Almost Ferengi-like? :)
