So I was the designated driver tonight...

so in the group of people I hang out with, there's 3 other people that i usually hang out with mainly...anyhow. we're all in our mid 20's. One of them doesn't have his license OR permit. so he doesn't drive, another drives for a living so he hates driving at other times, and the third just always weasles out of it. In the last year I've been the designated driver on all but 2 occasions.

The problem is, they're always like 'oh you're a candy ass..you're not drinking tonight...what a pussy' etc. etc. They pull this tonight as they proceed to hang out the windows of my car as I'm driving down the highway....so we get to the bar they want to go to which is about 30 miles away for some f'ing reason. I'm tired from running earlier today so I don't really dance or anything, and at the end of the night they're like 'oh...****** you..you didn't hang out with us tonight' and proceed to walk in the opposite direction away from where I'm parked...I go to my car, wait 15 minutes, then say '****** it' and drive home. I just get a voicemail from one of the kid's, saying 'yeah...my keys are in your car'..........

exactly. I think I'm done with that group. Looking at it objectively, not once have they ever paid for parking, or thrown me a buck for gas. I've carted them around probably close to 1000 miles at this point...
 
They sound like inconsiderate jerks at best. You did what I would have done. Who needs to take crap when you're doing THEM a favor?

Be the designated driver one more time, let them get really drunk, then drive them to the middle of nowhere and leave them there with a note saying never bother you again...

i like insane's idea. get them plasterd and stop for gas a few times. then drop them off someplace then call the cops on them. heh
 
I have no problem being the DD, I do it all the time. But my friends aren't pussies who make fun of me for being DD. If they did, I would leave their asses there.

yah, I don't have a problem being DD, but this is ridiculous, I'm the DD EVERY weekend, and they never pay a cent for anything, and they act like this....
