First of all - this is not a flaimbait or anything and reflects the feelings of my "friends" only!

I havent seen these people for a some time, we began talking about the situation in US and first comments they make are "more damage to America the better", "I'm glad those towers went down" and "USA sucks".

I was just just so fscking shocked I didnt know how to reply. I then asked wtf do you have against US, here's some replies:

"It's too powerful and doesnt have any respect towards other countries."

"They think USA is 90% of the world."

"What good has ever come out of USA?"

I mean, OMG!!! Please give me some good replies that I can forward to them!

If we go down, so does the world. We are too interrelated through trade. Look at every stock market in the world right now, all are falling pretty quickly.

<< Tell them to take a vacation in Afghanistan for the next month. >>

So hmm.. how much does those plane tickets cost? :D

<< If we go down, so does the world. >>

I tried to tell them that if US takes hit, the world takes hit. That just increased the mindless and hatefull replies. My friends seem to think US has too much power and not enough brains to use it properly... that was almost exact quote from one of my friends. He honestly thought US is dangerous to the rest of the world because of it's power.

You should ask them to go into detail. That will likely prove that they do not understand these mindless rebellion statements that they keep repeating.

There are two kinds of people that think the US has too much power. The ones that understand it and truly believe it- they are about 2-3% of the bunch. The other 97-98% is just trying to rebel and only know a few buzz-phrases that make them sound big an important.

I suggest you find some new friends by the way, they clearly have no respect for human life - both the lives lost due to this horrendous terrorist act and the lives lost fighting for their freedom. Fighting for their freedom of speech so they can utter those horrible words without threat of legal, governmental, or other repercussions - hell, if they were attacked for saying what they did, they would be able to sue and be the attackers would be tossed in da' slammer- sadly most other countries in the world aren't like that (yet at least).

They really werent capable of giving real details - mostly they just shouted out all BS you see or hear on TV and stuff. Pretty sad actually...

Yes, and usually these people wear American brand clothes, listen to American bands and eat typical American food...

Gladly they're not close friends, as I said I havent seen them in a while and hope I dont have to see them again in looooong time.

these kind of people just piss me off ...

don't they realize we stand for freedom and justice and if we go down, the world will tumble because of all our trade connections.

My cousin is part of the 97% who just want to be cool and different. He was telling me how he thought the planes hitting the WTC towers was "the best sh!t I've ever seen." He also said that he wishes he were there to see people jump off the top floors. He said they were idiots and that he would have hid under a desk (ROFLMAO). I asked him if he was angry at all and he said, "No, I'd be angrier if someone scratched my M3." He doesn't see how something that happened 3000 miles away could affect him.

There's only one way to deal with these guys, and that is to tell them to fvck off.

They've simply been brainwashed by the liberals (public education) as this is how they think: the US is too powerful, so we have to create another Super Power, ie give technology to China.

As for these kids who have lived in safety and security all their lives, all I can say is that it's time to stop spoiling the children of America.

<< "It's too powerful and doesnt have any respect towards other countries." >>

[sarcasm]As evidenced by the astronomical amount of foreign aid the US issues each year.[/sarcasm] The Marshall Plan, disaster relief, foreign loans, free trade agreements, the Mexican bailout, etc... Much of American foreign policy is geared towards issues that also affect us, but the US recognizes and respects that what affects other nations also affects us.

<< "They think USA is 90% of the world." >>

See above. That is just an assinine statement with no basis in fact.

<< "What good has ever come out of USA?" >>

Television, the Internet, modern computing technology...
The space shuttles, the begining of Space Station Alpha, culture (Music, movies, television, food, clothes, etc.), the idea that everyone is equal and everyone has the opportunity to better himself, the most liberal immigration policies in the world, NATO, ANZUS, the OAS, free trade with Canada and Mexico, CNN, Boeing, American Football, The Gulf War, "Swift" ends to WWI and WWII, a counter-influence to communism, The League of Nations, The United Nations, "Democracy" as much of the world now enjoys...

The US can't take full credit for most of that list, but without our influence, most of those ideas/innovations would have taken far longer to develop. Tell your friends to grow up.

Ask them "What good has ever come out of the rest of the world?"

I'm not saying that the answer is nothing, but from their point of view, there should be tons of good things to come out of the rest of the world as nothing good has come out of the US, and I know that plenty of good things have come out of the world. They'll probably say they don't know or something stupid like that.

<< "They think USA is 90% of the world." >>

<sarcasm> Well, I guess you haven't seen the new maps of the world. The US is actually about 95% of the total Earth surface. </sarcasm>

You should also tell them to come to your house during the winter. You could pop their heads and you could heat your home with all the hot air in their heads...

No, I don't think so. I think they are just morons. Even through Finland was leaning towards Soviet Union in 1945-1990 (We didn't have much of a choice... Just look at the map for explanation), there was no anti-USA rhetoric in education. I at least haven't seen any. Relationship between USA and Finland have always been very close, even when we had to suck up to russkies.

Sure we had our share of anti-USA pro-commies morons in the 60's and the 70's, but luckily that's behind us now.
