It also depends on what you install.. lay off the crap programs and you shant have a problem.. (I've never scanned, I am confident there is nothing bad on my system)

Spybot is NOT better, if anything its MORE dangerous to use IF you dont know what to and not to delete.
I havent had a problem yet with AA6. I run it on WinME, Win2000Pro and WinXP pro.
