So, I was playing Madden 2005 online with this guy...

And he was doing the most annoying thing...

Each time I had the ball on offense he would let the computer pick his defensive play...you know, after I pick my play he would like the 10 second timer run out...

It was annoying as hell because it probably added like 15 minutes to the game...each one of my plays was an extra 10 seconds...

Then, after I scored a TD early in the 4th quarter he disconnects...what a jerkoff...
 
I'm assuming he was either just trying to piss you off, wasn't paying attention, or wasn't actually playing defense (since it'll do it automatically).

That or he's an idiot and doesn't realize there's an "Ask Madden" button that will suggest a play. I usually use it on defense b/c I'm lazy.

I don't know what he was doing...I mean it picks the same defense time and time again...I think it was his first time playing the game...

Obviously you do not play football games online :roll:. This is one of the reason's I can never bring myself to play online, is because of all the cheesers out there. I don't really guess this would be considered cheesing, but maybe he was trying to make you quit?

Unfortunately, it's my belief that more than 50% of the people who play football online are there to win any way they can, by cheesing, using glitches, and generally not playing a standard game of football. If they were to get rid of rankings, I think that most of those people will not bother. But that will never happen.

Amen...I mean, the entire reason I bought the game was to play it online so an experience like this sucks...
