when I drove on the school's lawn (a Middle school) and driving a little 'fun' on it. Some guy saw me, boxed me in and took my plates. Now he is contacting the police. Now what happens? Community service? Fines? (my first offence) The field isn't badly ripped up, but the grass is smushed. I am wondering what happens. Anyone know?

PS: I do take all responsibility for it, I am just wondering what to expect

UPDATE: Just spoke to a Police Officer, no criminal charges. I just have to pay to replace any damage that I did w/ community service. Cops are chekcing it out in the morning.

UPDATE2: No damage. I get off with a warning and a lecture. I am hella lucky. W00t!

No tires tracks ripping up the grass = lecture. And if I was your dad, you'd lose the car for a month.

Nope. I just did it. Just wondering what comes next. I accept what comes, just want to be braced for it. (I am only a teenager!)

The judge should sentence you to working community service cleaning parks all summer. That'll learn ye whippersnapper!

I wrote my parents a letter (they aren't home now) and on top of it I have my keys and my licence.

Parody? If not, lame. They could hit you with some type of vandalism charge, but most likely it'll be a fine.

P.S. - Don't blame your actions on your age. The body of your post says something completely different than your title.

Probably not enough. In a reasonable world you would lose your license. Probably like 5hrs community service.

You're old enough to drive, you're old enough to take responsibility for your actions. Have fun. :)

Sounds like you did tear it up. Next time, use your father's grass.

have you researched this enough yet to write a letter to his parents, the PD, the school, and the pope?
