...and some deaf fingered me! What an ass!

I was sitting with my girlfriend eating and talking and this deaf guy starts handing out those sign language sheets for money. I shook my head and waved my hand to say no, I don't want it. But he was insistant and put it down anyways. He then puts his hand out for money and I continue saying no with body language. He then points to his mouth, rubs his stomach and pulls out his empty pockets. I tried to say no thanks then he does an action, pointing to himself and the middle finger. I acknowledge him and continue on talking to my girlfriend and he taps me on the shoulder and does it again.

Man, I've never met such an aggressive beggar!

FYI, I don't believe in giving individual street people money but give to charities. I even worked with a deaf non-for-profit organzation for a bit last year when I had a government IT job last year.

You should have complained to the MickyD's manager and got the ass kicked out.

Wierd...coincidentally, I just made my quarterly visit to the arches for lunch. As we're sitting there eating, this guy walks by the counter 3-4 times, looking/glaring at the people behind the counter, dropping World Wraps napkins (food court in a mall) on the floor.

It was lunch hour so it was very busy so I don't think the manager would have been bothered with it. He left soon after anyways. He tried to get money from the table beside us and left.

i think you should rephrase that to:

"...and some deaf gave me the finger!"

Fingered and ass do not mix.

Don't you mean he 'Gave you the finger', not 'he fingered me'

?

EWWW!

why did you even bother using body language? just talk to him, and he'll get the point that you don't understand he's deaf and then walk away. and then on ATOT someone will post how somebody at mcdonalds can't tell from a deaf man...

Pepper spray him and scream "rape". I doubt this would be benificial to either of you, but it would be amusing.

Chances are the guy isn't deaf. I bet had you turned your head completely away from him and said you were gonna call the cops on your cell he would have taken off.

Some beggars are assholes. That's why I only give money out to people who entertain me, beggars or otherwise.

Best line I've ever heard: "Don't think of it as a handout; think of it as a downpayment on a cheeseburger." It was worth $2.

I'm broke. I've already taken her out to two nice meals ($75+ each) in a week and I'm a student :p

Plus, I was visiting her at her university campus and it's arguable the best food available... cheapest as well :)
