When I explained to my Dad exactly what VPN was and how it would let him get to the company network from anywhere he was really, really interested. I said I'd set up a VPN connection if I could. The only problem is that I highly doubt the router at the company is a VPN router. (It could be, but let's assume it isn't) I know there's a way you can set up software to enable a VPN connection to an entire network, but I have no clue where to start, other than looking for stuff on sourceforge. What do I have to do in order to get a VPN connection set up, and how difficult will it be?
Oh yeah, is the XP built-in VPN connection option sufficient for the "client" software, or should I consider something else.
