So I want to get a new graphics card..

I currently have an nVidia 7300 GS, and want to update my graphics card. While I don't want to spend a MAJOR amount of money on this, I want it to be noticeably better.

At the moment I only pretty much play counterstrike source, which my card currently just about handles, however as technology progresses im sure it will soon become inadequate.

My PC specs are as follows-

AMD Athlon 3800+
2.4Ghz
1 GB RAM

Erm, is there anything else that should be there?

Also, if I want to upgrade my RAM how do I find out which type I should order/ buy?

How much do you want to spend on the video card?
What kind of power supply do you have?
Is this a socket 939 or AM2? (939 uses DDR memory, AM2 uses DDR2 memory)

It's hard to give good suggestions without knowing specifically how much you want to spend, but this x1950xt @ $214.99 after MIR from Newegg is a pretty good deal.

Same as above, how much are you willing to spend. Here's a suggestion from around $100 which will be fine for stuff like CS and much better than what you have now 7600GT
