So I walk into my school's president's office...

and the secretary is on the phone. On her desk is an Apple Studio Cinema LCD monitor.

Meanwhile therest of the school has Crapply IMACs or old school Power PCs along with outdated Pentium 200mmx PCs running WINNT 4.


Now I'm not saying that the school should buy all LCD monitors or have better computers, but it sure would be nice.

I can't wait to get out of here.

That's the kind of stuff they have at the city utilities office here. I don't know why they need 21" screens and/or flat panels to enter database info. :frown:

I was working for tech support for some higher-ups at my university. I replaced a secretaries 14 inch CRT with a 15 inch DELL flatscreen, and she had NO REACTION. I even said "do you like your new display" and she literally said "looks allright, yeah"

my school is still on CRTs..... i don't think i've seen a LCD anywhere on campus so far

Well, I was going to talk to HER about my financial aid package, since the drones over at the FA office have brushed me off about it. I'm going to get an executive order! hahah

at my school, department chairs have the 17 inch dell lcds. everybody else has 15 inch crt's.
