I think it's an F150 that they have for site surveying at my job, and I was offered it this morning to run some arrands for my supervisor, but had to turn it down because I don't have my full license.

A loser is me.

If you don't have your full license, isn't it illegal to be driving any car alone?

No, I can drive my own car, I just can't drive my work's vehicles

Why would your license make any difference on that? A driver's license lets you operate a motor vehicle.

I wouldn't call you a loser for having to turn the truck down, I'd call you a loser for feeling the need to post this useless information :p

Hah I know, if anything though I know some here would appreciate my dissapointment.

I have my G2 class license in Ontario, Canada. G class is a full license, which is needed to operate vehicles at my work place.

As of April 1, 1994, all new drivers applying for their first car or motorcycle licence enter Ontario's Graduated Licensing System (GLS). Graduated licensing lets new drivers get driving experience and skills gradually. The two-step licensing process takes at least 20 months to complete.

To apply for a licence, you must be at least 16 years old and pass a vision test and a test of your knowledge of the rules of the road and traffic signs. After you pass these tests, you will get a Class G1 or M1 licence and a driver information package for new drivers. You must pass two road tests to become fully licensed.

New drivers earn full driving privileges in two stages and have five years to complete the program (G1, G2 or M2) and graduate to a full licence (Class G or M).

Is the backwards baseball cap a driving requirement?

Uhm.. I have my G. I'm 19. I had my G2 for 6 months, AFAIK only things you can't do with a G2 that you can with a G is the alcohol limit. I don't see an issue with work place.. unless they SPECIFICALLY say that you need your G to drive it.

I turned down a chance to drive one of these today...they offered to teach me how to drive it, but I'm a little too tall to fit in the driver's seat (I'm 6'7", it's made for somebody around 5'7")
