My dad is a pharmacist, but he's sleeping right now (works the night shift at a 24-hour store) so i don't want to bother him..

Anyway, I was REALLY tired last night when i went to bed and when i got up. Somehow, in my infinite wisdom, I think i may have taken an Allegra before i went to bed, one when i got up, and one when i left the house to go to work...

I know three isn't gonna kill me, far from it, but my allergies are going INSANE now.. My voice is all screwed up, my nose is running, and i can't stop sneezing.

Does taking too many allergy pills cause the opposite effect?

check the bottle. it shouldn't. if the symptoms get worse, go to a doctor. and OD of anything isn't good.

I've done that before, basically too much allegra made me feel silly and then sleepy. I don't think it'll do any real damage unless you do it often. I have a friend that always takes two because he swears that just one doesn't work anymore.

at high doses, it will affect all histamine receptors, causing drowsiness and a "loopy" feeling. but it wont really hurt ya by only taking 3. just tough it out and dont be a moron next time.
