There goes my social life.

Looks nice though at 1920x1200 and I still was underground fighting rats and goblins (the goblins in Morrowind were way tougher).

Gonna install my other mods this evening, make me a new character like a nice redhead and then start playing for real. :D

Shivering Isles I enjoyed more then Oblivion(I prefered Morrowind to be honest) anyway "The Witcher" is a better game(especially for story then either of them, which I recommend as RPG of the year.

I picked up Oblivion for $20 while I was in India. It was a legitimate copy from the UK however, with full box and the original game disc. Supreme Commander was going for $5. :p

I spent about a 100 hours with two characters on that game. I actually want to buy Shivering Isles and Knights of Nine once I get a better graphics card. I think they are only around $20 in total now.

Oblivion is one of my favorite games, although it doesn't quite hold the special place that Morrowind does. In any case, when my 8800GT arrives, I'll be playing it a lot more (being forced to play at 15-20 FPS on low resolution with my current setup detracts from the experience quite a bit). And yes, Oblivion isn't truly complete without the mods made for it. And Shivering Isles kicks ass.

I didn't like Oblivion; I gave up in less than a week. Too many things were wrong with it, IMO. It just seemed as if it divulged from it's predecessors in a bad direction.

However, in all fairness, I was playing the game with no mods. One of these days I'll look for all the mods that fix a lot of the things I dislike, but I doubt some of them can be fixed.

I loved Oblivion first time through, but when I got the expansions, something didn't clock. Maybe after 200 hours logged (plus reloads/screwups), I got a bit bored. Oh, and level scaling got to me more in the expansions. I tried to get a mod to take care of that, but didn't care for the possibility of baggage, and I wanted a non-"tainted" (modded away from original vision) game.
