Got lucky a week ago and picked up a paid internship with a homebuilding company. The interview went smoothly and they hired me on the spot. From the looks of things inside the office building it looks a little hectic, but maybe I don't even know what hectic is, heh. Anyway, here's the job description they gave on the website I submitted my resume to:
1) Assembly, configuration, and troubleshooting IBM clones.
2) Resolving network problems.
3) Providing support ot the end user.
4) Utilizing Windows 95/98/2000, Office 97/2000, Various Anti-Virus Packages, Corel Office, WordPerfect Office, Lotus.
Which is pretty much what they told me it would be like during the interview, I'll use what the IT head said and call it 'doing the grunt work'. Doesn't seem like nothing I can't handle, but I want to see what you guys think. Like I said this is my first official IT job, so I'm not sure what to expect or if I should even prepare. Any suggestions? Thanks.
