So i saw this mustang today . . .

an late 80's mustang, fox body, all the plastic pieces of the mustang GT, 5.0 stuck on at least 4 different places on the body, but the kicker?

























it only had 1 exhaust tailpipe.

ONE Exhaust means the car is a 4 BANGER not a V8.

the v8's had dual exhausts, except mb the first couple of years but this was not an early fox body, it was definitely a later fox body.

I have seen people do this in the past. Do you know your cars enough to know that it was not an early 5.0L with single exhaust....just clarifying. Again though, I have seen this before. I have also seen a Ford Ranger with SVT Lightning tags all over it. I also see, every morning on my way to work, a 1999 Mustang V6 done up with SVT Cobra tags all over it.....it has dual exhaust with a GT rear facia, but the brakes give away the fact that it is a V6.

no, by the time the LS 5.0 came out they were all dual exhaust. only the early mustang gt 5.0 had the single exhaust.

In 1985 they introduced the dual tailpipes (single catalytic split to two mufflers then out), and in 1986 they moved to a true dual-exhaust.

In the early '80s there used to be a Mustang GT Turbo 4cyl, and in '84 that was turned into the SVO. The SVO originally came with 175hp, and later got bumped to 205.

uhhh, did you not read my OP, i said Late 80's mustang. hence it would be a 4 banger.
