So I saw a wild snake on campus

Black with white stripes, 8-9 inches, crossed the sidewalk like a retard swimming on the floor. I didn't want think to take a pic when I saw it, but I wanted to capture it, but didn't know if it was poisonous, nor if there were other ones near it in the grass.

If only I had a gatorade bottle or something...could have stomped it with my foot, trapped it under my weight, killed it, then bottled it. Hmm...

Why kill it? I always have a couple of small garden snakes that take home in my window wells. Always fun picking them up and stuff.
