So, I rented "G.I. Joe: Valor Vs. Venom" last night...

... and it's pretty bad. The animation is alright, the story is typically G.I. Joe, and the characters are familiar.

It got me thinking, though. Aren't there plans for a G.I. Joe live action film? And, wouldn't it be cool to see a good-quality FPS?

so how is it bad again?
if the animation is the same, the story is the same, and the characters are the same, how could this be bad if the tv show was great?

I'm a GI Joe fanboy and got in from Netflix a few months back. I thought it was sweet because it was GI Joe, but the animation was alright(although there was some pretty noticeable clipping in several parts).

I don't know if live action would turn out good though. Visions of the Street Fighter movie make me cringe.

How is it bad? The cartoons were never very well animated and usually had horribly low frames per second. I'd be interested in seeing a well done, dark, foreboding live-action version of the show, though. I want to see a dark, voilent, adult-themed (no, not sexually) version in the live-action movie, although I just know it's going to be some stupid dumbed-down childish movie. 🙁

Well, there's just something about it. Maybe it's just me, but it isn't as cool as the cartoon.

Agreed, the cartoon is superior.
