I said hello, and we talked for a couple minutes, it was good to see she's doing well. I thought about how things used to be after I finished chatting her up. I really didn't have much chemistry with her when we dated. In fact, I don't remember much about our relationship. I vaguely remember the sex, but it wasn't that good, unless she was drunk.
Anyway, it got me thinking, how do you define "chemistry" in relationship terms? Do you need to know what they are thinking without them saying anything? Do you need to finish their sentences? DO chemistry and soulmates go hand in hand?
Is it possible to just be content with the relationship, and let that be the indicator? I don't mean "going through the motions" or "stuck in a rut", but just being content, knowing that the other person is there if you need them, that kind of stuff.
I'm just wondering if I'm afraid of settling for second best, or if I'm shooting to high.
The Eagles song "Desperado" comes to mind here
Sorry, no pics. We dated four years ago, I had no reason to keep pics.
