So, based on the recomendations here, I picked up 2142. I am just awful at it, but I am blaming my 7 year old mouse for that. 😉

So I went ahead and ordered a G5. Hopefully it will somehow make me shoot straighter, lol.

Anyway, if anyone wants toplay, I am quite diligent about reviving teammates and healing them.

Ah, unfortunately, I had already logged about 10 hours of gameplay and 10 hours of getting the game to work before he posted.

Howeever, everything is working perfectly now. Yay!!!
 
Good, because I was just at the website and I'm intrigued.

have you started playing the campaign game at all? How's the A.I.?
 
There is no campaign. You can fire up some maps with bots to practice against, but its pretty easy. Best to just jump right in I think. This is pretty much multiplayer only.
