Yes, but how much did you make?

I would LOVE to be able to pay 20k in taxes, cause that would mean I'd be making some money! :)

in that case he must be making more than $150,000 AFTER TAX.... that's 2 S500 (with an AMG badge) EACH year.

Yay for You! You stuck it to the man! I let "dah man" hold $500 of MY dollars for a whole year interest free.

I feel like such a luser.

At least the gub'ment came clean and paid me back. I usually claim 2 dependents on my monthly wages and eat the refund for the year. Only have to pay around $20 in April. Last year was tricky since I now live overseas.

I have a cousin who spent the first 7-8 years of his adult life pool sharking to support himself. Never reported a cent to the IRS. They finally caught up with him when he went legit though, coincidentally shortly after his brother mysteriously disappeared. (FYI, his brother was running various illegal activities for organized crime) Apparantly, 15 years or so later, he's still paying off the debt.

Sucks dude. But how the hell did that happen?

Except it's all relative. If someone pays 90K a year in taxes, they can probably afford it. AND, this is after having paid taxes already, it's not like he didn't pay taxes all year and NOW owes it all in one large sum.

Ah, but jealousy is human nature. What better way to make money, then to steal it from someone else. Especially if all you have to do is check a ballot box.

I got $30 back from the feds and have to pay $53 to Michigan. I feel your pain. :(
