And they have rebates listed for $70 Text

However, the $40 rebate leads to the $30 rebate link. I've tried explaning this to Amazon over and over again, but they cannot understand what I'm talking about. It's like speaking to a brick wall. When I talked to them on the phone, they directed me to the manufacturer, who in turn, redirected me to Amazon. And to add insult to injury, the rebate terms says only one rebate per household, so why would Amazon list 2 rebates for this same product?

This is why I hate MIRs.

EVGA burned me on my $30 MIR for my 7800GT back in the day and I will never again mess with an MIR.

Promo 1120 offers various dollar amounts depending upon the model. The XT 256 is eligible for $30. Some sloppy web monkey erroneously double-entered the promo under two of said amounts, is all. Even if there was a diff'rent simultaneous promo, "1120" is "not valid with any other offer". That all seems pretty clear. So it is unlikely that Amazon will accept financial responsibility for a "typo".

It is wise to read and understand (and query any) rebate terms before making the purchase. Presumably they have a good return policy though, especially if unopened. If not yet delivered then acceptance could just be refused but best to check with the monger first.
