So I might have lost about 300GB of data

I have a 200GB and a 160GB drive in a dual 5.25" firewire enclosure. They're mounted in a PC P&C Bay Cool III, with an undervolted Panaflo L1A as intake. The enclosure has an undervolted L1A exhausting directly behind the drives, so I've got something of a wind tunnel going. Anyway, I turned the enclosure off for Thanksgiving break (it had been running continuously since early September) and now it won't turn on anymore.

I opened it up and tried powering everything.... everything starts and then it looks like the power supply is crapping out over and over- so my drives AND fans lose power for a little bit and then get it back. Could my drives have gone haywire and caused my unit to malfunction, or could the PSU have crapped out on me?

Forgive my ignorance, I thought you were talking about a regular PC PSU.

Can you try hooking these up to a PC PSU? It does sound like the PSU inside the enclosure is failing.
