So i made it into the top 90..now 40

Of this freeplay online poker tournament.

Its round one of 3 that earns the winner a $10,000 sponsorship into any poker tournament WORLDWIDE.

Right now i got 48,400 in chips, after starting with 10,000. The leader has 88,300 and the average is 22,300.

Round two is all the winners of round 1, plus 2nd-15th place. There have been at lease 20-30 round 1 qualifiers. Right now im just playing for 15th place, and a spot in the next round.

UPDATE

only got 9200 in chips. Had three aces, only a 4 kicker. Lost to a 6 kicker of three aces.

Congrats.....how different is it to play online, if you can't see the other players and "feel" out the hand? is it mainly just luck/skill now? And you could just sit there with a piece of paper/computer and calculate out probabilities, right?

Just wondering, since I like playing poker, and had never heard of something like this.

you have 20 second time limits before it folds you after each card. Its texas hold'em.

Its hard not seeing the persons facial expressions, but its basically the same thing. Just gotta feel how each person is playing. How they bet, when they raise when they fold. Whos a pushover, whos the bully. Etc.
