So i`m pulling an all nighter to finish a paper

And my eyes are starting to get blurry now (but i`m not tired in the least... in fact, i`m very motivated atm), but i can`t find my glasses! I bought these glasses where there`s no frames around the lenses, and the metal part with the hinge that goes around your ear is super thin, so it looks abit invisible... well, it actually is now, because i can`t find them! I don`t wear my glasses often, maybe once a year!

To make it worst, all my desks and tables are glass!

I'm so glad I'm not blind. I'm an old dude and I still am not even close to needing glasses.

Maybe you can find a couple of coke bottles and bust out the bottoms and MacGyver it?

P.S. Do your homework as soon as possible, then play.. why do you think my annoying butt got a 3.9 something GPA? (woulda had a 4.0 but a lesbian teacher insisted on giving me a B+!) :roll:

Bizarre maybe? I would have received a 4.0 except for the gay (male) prof who also gave me a B+. Well, this was in my 3rd quarter...went downhill after that...ended with a 3.2. Homosexuality affects us all.

Lol, I pull all nighters regularly (average about 1-2 a fortnight), and I'm very unproductive at them... I waste most of my time surfing the web....but somehow, the work seems to get done at the end.

Advice to OP: if you finish the papaer a couple of hrs before you have to turn it in, AVOID the temptaion to take a 'short' nap.... most likely you'll wake up in 8 hours berating yourself.

All nighters are horrible. Usually the next two days are a mess unless I take in copious amounts of caffeine.

They are as repressive as any other group. I can live with my 3.9+ GPA. It did suck though as straight A's are always a nice thing. Whatever, gays need their reparations too I suppose. :roll:

Thanks for the advice! But i`ve done that in the past... 2-3 hrs is better than nothing, but i ALWAYS set 3 alarms. 2 actual clock alarm, and i have somebody call my cell.

Anyways, it`s 5:30am now, and i`m still at it. Well, maybe i shouldn`t jump the gun... but i haven`t felt a sense of accomplishment this good in awhile. I had planned to have had the paper done by Sunday, but i work 12 hr shifts, and normally i could get some things done at work, but we did some upgrades at our datacenters, so i had no chance all week.

The only crappy thing all night was trying to find my glasses (that, and i think i drank a 2 week old bottle of opened water).

Glad you found your glasses. I recommend using the alarm on your cell if it has one. Having a room mate is the best for times like these though, because he can prboably wake you up at the needed time. I did this for my last room mate all the time when he did all-nighters. When I did all-nighters I just roughed it out and tried to stay up until at least 8PM using all available resources (caffeine)
