So I`m in Paris using a Mac- Keyboard is different

is it because it`s a mac, or because kybd in Europe is layed out differently?

It's because it's a french language keyboard. They think they can disobey the law of QWERTY..

Macs use qwerty, so it's probably because it's French. Not to mention that azert sounds kind of French anyways.

Yes, and I'm saying they arranged it like that because they wanted it to sound French.

If they wanted it to sound French, they should have just left out half the letters of QWERTY.
