So I love Borderlands...any other good split-screen type games like this?

I do not have, nor will I get Xbox Live. But I like the Co-op play of something like Borderlands. I might check out Fallout 3 for myself. But are there any other really good FPS/Action/RPG games like this for split screen 2 person?
I know there are great games like Battlefield Bad Company, Red Faction Guerilla, etc, but as far as I know most are just single player campaign mode. Does COD: MW2 or Army of Two: 40th Day have 2 player campaign?

Not that much similar but both gears of war games are very enjoyable in co-op.

Yes, 40th Day does. Both online and split screen. My brother and I just finished it a few days ago. Played part split screen and part online. MW2 doesn't have campaign co-op. It has missions called "Spec Ops" which are basically small sections from the campaign. These can be played split screen or online.

The first Army of Two supports split-screen, you should be able to find that game pretty cheap.
