So... I lost my 1and1 hosting account number

I signed up for a free hosting deal a few years ago, and in my most recent reformat I lost my hosting account number. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but it seems you cannot get any login information without knowing that number.

I really don't care about what's on the account, in fact all I want to do is delete the entire thing. Any ideas on how to go about this? I think the account was free for three years and that date has to be coming up soon.

I could've sworn I've had the free one for at least 4 years.

Yeah, no dice. I tried emailing them, hopefully something will come out of it.

Yeah, mine is up in November and it has been nice because they are a decent web host. Not sure if I would pay very much for it but the SSH, CGI, $6 domains, etc has been nice.
FWIW - if you have a domain with them you can log in using that also.

you can try logging into the admin.1and1.com server using a domain name (if you registered one, or if you remember the s#########.online.us one they give you) and your admin pw..
then you can find your client number easily.
