As far as the legitemacy of being in Nigeria, that seems a little suspect, but I had an uncle living in Chad, Africa and he said that they all drive Toyotas there b/c they are more reliable, so perhaps that's why he chose your car. Either way sounds like shenanigans on John Robin's part.

I got an email from someone in Africa when I was selling my Shelby before, this was about 2 years ago before this stuff was really widespread 😛

Are these people fcking absolutely retarded? Do they ever think English like that is going to work?

rofl you should email him back and say you're shipping the car first, what's his address

😀

I wonder if you can buy a Corolla matchbox car..hmm..

Any electronic/big-ticket item I've ever listed on craigslist has gotten a response from an interested party in Nigeria.

its obviously a script/form letter. They write a program that copies and pastes in the item title and emails the seller....the way its worded really makes me think that letter wasnt written about buying a car 😛

🙂 I'm just pointing out that in this instance it would almost make sense. Africans like toyotas, and according to my uncle who lived in Chad, they often import them from NA, so in this one instance it is almost possible. Of course this one isn't.

no matter how much they LOVE the toyota should someone EVER send ANYTHING to nigeria. too many people have messed up people SO much that it has ruined it for the whole country. even if there are 100 good and legit people looking for stuff in nigeria....they're just SOL and should go to another country for their business.
