One part I didn't get in the movie was when he was telling the cop how he was a good person and that he didn't take pictures of his kids doing things that kids shouldn't do. Was he talking about himself or the kid? I don't remember seeing any photos of that sort of stuff...

It's near the end, when he's talking to the cop. He asks if he's a family man, says he can tell he is - That he wouldn't do things like make his children do things kids shouldn't do, & take pictures, etc.

The thing I was confused by were the pictures he was handed at the end. I'm assuming that was supposed to be the developed roll they pulled from the camera he left in the hotel room? If so, why was it just everyday objects? Was he not taking pictures in the hotel room?

Not sure but I thought maybe he hid the roll he took of the guy and girl naked. Then maybe he just took pics of the misc objects in the hotel room.
The guy/girl wouldn't tell anyone about the nude pics if the "family" kinda adopted him in. Hence why the pic had him in it at the end.
I do remember him saying all the stuff to the police about being a family man, etc. I just thought he may have actually stated he was molested and I missed it???

Yea, i dont think he was actually taking pictures of them, when he went back to his hotel room he started taking pictures of everyday items
