So I just testdrove the new Honda Accord

Not that it's a disappointment, but I just don't see much improvement over the 6th generation that I have. The engine is a bit torquier, the ride has been softened, the handling has gone camry-like. It's still a very lovable car, it's just not as sporty as the 6th generation. Oh..and the automatic transmission, no, I will definitely get a manual one. To sum it up, I am not too impressed.

Yeah, the car has gotten uglier with each of the last two revisions IMO. I've owned two Accords over the years (an '84 and a '98), and the hybrid Accord sounds awesome - too bad it looks the way it does.

the sedan of the last generation 98-02 definitely looked best

too bad they didn't make the TSX the accord here like in europe cuz that is pretty sexy too

that design is a bit more feminine compared to the 98-02 model..

I agree. That was the only Accord I'd really say was handsome (though I also like the '86-'89 model)

Really? I hated mine. I had a '98 Accord EX V-6, and I always felt like I was driving a Buick. It was reasonably quick, but always felt really pudgy to me. I was also disappointed in the overall quality - it had a surprising number of niggling little build problems.

am i the only one that thought the pedals were way too sensitive?! also the handling was weird- a lot of understeer, and screeching. Plus its overpriced. Interior design was kinda cool, but it looks like a spaceship with the big knob.

what I liked about that car is just it was no hassle at all.. u get in and drive, never feared that anything can go wrong...

never had a single problem with it, ever..

but oh well I love my 330ci now!! 😀😀

i think so. however i really like the 98'-02' V6 coupe with the rims.
