I never though id find myself willingly installing Norton on my computer.
After running the beta for a few months, I can now conclude that it is awesome in almost every way. Its fast, has a pretty ui, uses almost no resources, and cuts down completely on annoying pop up windows. Sitting idle right now its using a grand total of 19MBs of memory. I'm really impressed.

Me too, I've been using it again since the 2009 version and have generally been very pleased. But I still use MSE when computers are brought to me because of viruses/trojans. For some reason MSE seems to find and remove various trojans that current and updated versions of Norton, McAfee, and Trend Micro don't seem to reveal. I've even moved infected files from those systems to mine and sure enough NIS 2011 missed a couple of them. I still prefer NIS 2011 because of its superb firewall. For nearly a year I have lauded the benefits of MSE as the best free malware detector/remover however.
