tdd doesnt compare or even come close too Coldplay in this life time.

speaking of Coldplay im not likening there new album. its sorta... 80's ish.

will take some getting used to after there other albums.

If you like them check out Doves or Lowgold.

I'm assuming you're listening to their new album, their older stuff is much better. Rush of blood to the head, or Parachutes.

Speed of Sound is pretty damn good and to me it sounds very much like their older stuff.

So I( gather. If I listen to radio it's usually an Alternative Rock Station and even they seem to play Cold Play a lot. LOL, they must be Popular if Gwenyth Patrow would marry the Lead Singer as we all know she is always the first to acknowledge what is cool:laugh:
 
I heard some discussion about this group last week. They are the latest "Band of the Century" group (many before and many more after, I'm sure).

It seems that their current album / hit / single / whatever, their biggest yet, has been outsold 4:1 on the cBritish (or European?) charts by a cell-phone ringtone (and a pretty stupid one at that ... along the lines of an "Alvyn & the Chipmonks" class).

I've never heard of 'em before that discussion & obviously haven't heard thir music ...

They're in Big Promo mode ... trying to get 'em launched. I'm sure they'll be plastered everywhere soon (if not already).

I find their new album sounds a lot like their old, you're right there. But it is worse. Their best was Rush of blood, though parachutes was very good, of course. Their recent one has some notable songs, but it's simply inferior to the last album.

At least, so I've heard 🙂

Bingo, Coldplay is mediocre at best and it brings a smile to my face to see Oasis come up short.
