I've read that if you get a new video card you need to make sure you uninstall the drivers and such of your previous card (especially going from ATI to NV or vice versa). My question is, is a simple uninstall enough, or do I need to download some tool to completely clean my system?

Congrats on your purchase, I love my 6600GT.

You will need to download Driver Cleaner Pro, and once it's installed, boot into safe mode, and then open up the program, there will be a menu of what to clean, select ATI, and click clean, it should say "cleaning with ATI" on the bottom, and then once it's clean, boot into regular mode again. You should be set.

P.S. I would reccomend the 81.85 drivers for the 6600GT.
