So I just got my HDTV card working... (now with more PICS)

...and I must say, the 3 digital channels I've seen so far look very nice indeed. 🙂

Here's some screenies: (4:3, but it's the clarity that's impressive, expecially considering this is OTA)

At the moment, I can only pick up the local FOX and ABC stations (WXMI-DT 19 and WOTV-DT 20 respectively), along with some religous thing (WTLJ-DT 24, the only 16:9 broadcast I've seen as of yet). I should also be able to get CBS, NBC and another ABC affiliate (WWMT-DT 2, WOOD-DT 7, WZZM-DT 39) but no luck yet... 🙁

EDIT: Here is a pic of the antenna I'm using, for those who are curious. It's a directional VHF/UHF outdoor antenna, with a 35' cable running around the outside of the house and into my bedroom window.

I'd like to get this now and just use it on my windows pc. I have a mythtv box that I'd like to put this in once I upgrade to a large HDTV set. Too bad it doesn't work in windows.

Why no Windows support? I don't see why they would limit their market like that. And those screenshots suck. You couldn't pick worse subjects. A freaking advertisement and MIMI? Jesus H Christ. You would think you have to be a genius to figure out that a pretty picture is better to show off your HDTV. Then again Linux users aren't known for good taste.
