I didn't expect the after effects to be that bad. :( Threw up as soon as I was awake basically, then groggy and horrible until I left the hospital, threw up coming hope, then went to sleep. I'm fine now except for minimal pain though...at least I won't have attacks anymore.

Oh man anesthesia is the worst for me. I had an inguinal hernia operated on, which is an abdominal surgery. I was throwing up for the next 8 hours, with an ABDOMINAL surgery. Felt like I was giving birth.

Never had anesthesia, which turned out kind of lucky. Was going to get my wisdom teeth removed, and just before I did I found out I had hypothyroidism and probably would have went into a coma permenantly if they put me under.

Yup, did that too. You'll want to take a week off before returning to work minimally, and it'll take a while for your energy levels to get back to where they were. So you'll be run down for a while. It'll also be uncomfortable for about 4 days until your body absorbs all the gas they pushed in your abdomen from the laproscopy.

Had mine removed with no probs at all. I was sore for a few days but the pain pills worked well for that. They tell you to watch what you eat after it is out, but I eat every thing and I never have and problems.
