This bill, which was sent about 2 weeks after we signed up is a little weird...

We signed up for service on 1/28/03 and were told it would be prorated since the billing cycle will start over on the 29th.

On this bill which shows Billing Period 12/28/02 - 1/28/03 it shows us using 10 minutes and it charged us $55 for the month PLUS an activation fee of $35.

Now i can understand the activation charge of $35, but charging us $55 for ONE DAY of service is complete bullsh!t. Did they f-up majorly here, or was i misled when i signed up?

She must have farked up. Call *2 to fix it. It really is supposed to be pro-rated, but some CSRs get it wrong. You should end up paying less than $2 for that one day.

Don't worry about it, Sprint's computer is stupid, it might seem like you get charged that much for one day, but it's actually for the next month, I had the same thing a few months back and I called them, that's what they told me and they were right.

The biggest mistake you have ever made is trying to figure out a Sprint PCS bill. I just end up paying mine every month without looking.

Ok well thats kinda weird.... I guess it makes sence though...

Back on page 3 or 4 of the bill is shows the $55 a month charge as being for the NEXT month...

They bill you a month in advance? I dont remember vstream doing that.

It doesn't make sense to bill in advance because they don't know how much airtime you gonna use.

They charge you the month after for the minutes over the limit.

From the info he gave, it appears they charged him for a whole month when he only used one day of the billing period.
