So, I just got back from a midnight show of X-Men 3

This movie OWNS.

Nonstop action from start to finish. The plot wasn't quite as well-developed as in the second one, but the extreme badassery from virtually every mutant you could imagine more than made up for it.

Also, half the theatre nearly died when they threw in an inside joke that I never in a hundred years would have believed they would do... I won't give it away, but I nearly crapped myself!

Also, make sure you all stay after the credits for a secret bonus!

Anyone else see it?

When he said that line, the whole theater erupted. It was absolutely fvcking hilarious.

X3 was a great movie.

"** *** ********** *****!". I was wondering how that thing got started, and I was surprised to actually hear it in the movie and every one knew it too (Viral Marketing?). As for the movie, its kind of like the Matrix series.

First one was cool and new, second one was bigger and better but lacked something, and the third one was a giant wtf? but still watchable.

As for the scene at the end, its the most predictable unsurprising thing ever.

The 2nd one was my favorite out of the series, but I still like the last one better than the first one.

This thread says no spoilers, and without giving out who the character is, they'd have absolutely no idea what the phrase was.

I'm not the one who spoiled anything, thank you for letting me know what the answer to my question was. 🙂

I didn't spoil anything, I asked a simple question but thanks for letting me know the answer. 🙂

No spoiler in my post so you can read

I think there was a lot of action, and certainly more than the 1st and 2nd ones.

However, I think the plot wasn't as well made as the first and second. Sure maybe the plots of the first and second ones weren't all that great either, but somehow the way the movie was built wasn't that great for X3. Anyhow, it wasn't disappointing. I liked it.

So in the past few months I saw the following movies, and I'll rank them:

1) V for Vendetta
2) OVer the Hedge
3) X3
4) MI3
5) Da Vinci Code
6) Silent Hill

Your list is perfect. The top 2 movies are awesome!

Is the inside joke something only the comic book fans will get? If so, go ahead and spoil it for me because I won't get it. 🙁
