...........and i am extremely freaked out. I would NEVER have guessed this. I mean, he doesn't show amazing interest in girls OR guys. he didn't actually tell me, i just heard from a few of my other friends saying "did you know fran is Bi" and i kept responding with "shut the fsck up as if he is".

so low and behold tonite i say on msn "people are saing you are Bi, is it true etc" and too my amazement he responds with "i'm suprised you didn't know"

i am shocked, but not discusted or anything. i have nothing against gays or Bi's, just that i would NEVER have guessed.

He's currently telling me about the fact that he's not tried things with people in my grade (btw i am only 16, he's 15) because he didn't 'like' anyone.

this is weird :(

At 15 I'm surprised that he even knows what he wants..

Besides the fact that my general sentiment is, "he's 15 and may not be entirely sure what he is yet", who really cares? I mean, if he doesn't date anyone at all, he might as well be neuter.

exactly what i though. But i will paste something he said

its quite hard to explain, but i have alway had a really open minded veiw of homosexuality, and really had a big hate for homophobes. . . . and then i reallised that i wasn't just someone with an open mind, i actually thought that it . . . interested me. . . . but eventually i realised, i definatly wasn't gay. . . . . .

So basically, he's 15 and curious? I don't think that even quailfies him as bisexual.

kind of what i thought. The reason i would never have guessed is because he has none nothing with a guy or acted like he wanted to :S

As long as your friend is cool to hang out with, then his sexual orientation shouldn't matter.

If he is a good friend then he knows you are not gay or bi. so i wouldnt worry about him hitting on you.

I would be supportive of him. He is going to need all the real friends he can.

anyway is his sexual prefrence something to lose a good friend over?

yea, i'm not gonna like stop hanging with him or anything, it just camea s too much of a suprise. We talked for ages, and he answered all my 'questions' fully which was good, as i didn't expect him to, but overall things shouldn't be too different

My best friend turned out to be bi after he told me when we graduated. He thought by telling me he would ruin the friendship, but after I got over the initial shock, I said it was cool and he is still my best friend...

why would you have had any reason to guess? most bi people don't walk around with big signs that say "I AM BI." if you're not homophobic, why would this be shocking? it's not any different than finding out he likes chocolate ice cream.
