So I bought another computer tonight and when I was taking my old computer downstairs I was thinking, YAY now I have 3 keyboards and 4 mice.

What the hell should I do with all of these spares? (We're renovating and all of the stuff we don't need HAS to go).

So I'm thinking maybe give them to my local highschool or something (though I dunno what they're gonna do with 2 keyboards and 3 mice)

What else constructive can I do?

Feed the mice to the cat :)

Well why did you get a new keyboard and mouse in the first place if you have so many?

They come with the machine.. and I haven't picked it up yet.. maybe I should ask them if they could drop the keyboard and mouse from the package.. as I have no use for it in exchange for like #20 bucks off.

My favorite is the massive amount of ribbon cables and power cords I have. I think I have a milk crate full of each.

It's much easier to treat keyboards as disposable than cleaning them out...

That's cute. I was pulling for an order of 70 PCs yesterday bound for a non-profit organization. 70 Compaq Deskpro EN's (some of the bulkiest modern computers on the planet), 70 keyboards, 70 CRT monitors (I grabbed a bunch of identical KDS 15 inchers), 70 mice, 140 power cords.

The PCs and monitors made a nice dent in our stock, keyboards and mice barely scratched the surface, and when I was pulling all those power cords, the depth of the bin NEVER changed.

We don't stock ribbon cable anymore, we recycle it.

I bought a dell 5150 + 2007FP for .... 549 shipped

:Q !!!!!

when?

a couple of months back, it was a small business deal. I found it on the hot deals section, it was sweet. Although initially it was 599 shipped, but I was lucky enough to use a coupon to shave off another 50 bucks :D
