By the way, I got it from GoDaddy for 8 bucks. I hope it was money well spent.

GoDaddy is ICANN accredited, NameCheap is not.

GoDaddy was cheaper than NameCheap.

However I still prefer NameCheap but am moving everything to my own eNom account.

I use to be hung-up on the ICANN accredited thing. I must say that I am very happy with my accounts at eNom and Namecheap.

i don't know whether you care or not but you could've registered "anonymously" at GoDaddy and not have your name/addy/telephone number so easy to obtain now.
