20 DVD's a week... Hmm.... were there 20 DVDs that you wanted to begin w/? Because if you just bought DVDs for the sake of them being cheap - then I'd say that you were being quite inefficient w/ your money... Ask yourself, how many of those movies are you going to watch more than once?

Man... heh, I haven't bought 20 DVDs yet, and I've had a DVD player for the longest time! I just end up watching them once or so... never really found something that I'd watch more than twice, even if I really liked the movie... I guess I'm just weird like that though

i like buying movies, (only dvds) I like watching them too! i especially like watch movies with good cinemetography like crouching tiger or proof of lif or lawerence of arabia.

The dvds were previously viewed and yeah its only at B&amp;M stores buts its a nationwide sale.

i watch movies several times, for instance i own princess monoonke and ive seen it at least 5 times.

Ive also come to the conclusion that if you see a dvd on sale that you like, buy it cause its unlikely you'll see it on sale again. (IMO)

ps my collection is coming close to a hundred dvds.


the keanu reeves movie geoff is talking about is the replacements which i thought was funny enough for the 7 bux i spent on it.

I used to buy 20 dvds a week back in the good old days of 75% off deals at reel.com, checkout.com, dvdexpress.com, etc. Built up a collection of 800 dvd's... though it's puny compared to some of the massive 2000 dvd collections that the folks at DVD Talk have.

Man, do I miss those days... 40% off retail is nothing.

phpDVD is a great php program for keeping track of your dvds and its free. I have about 90 dvds myself and my roommate has around 140 - makes for a pretty nice collection
