Every time we have conversations and I tell her something along the lines of I'm Japanese, or Japan this or Japan that... she starts her sentence with "Oh yea I love Chinese people", or "China this", or "China that"..... I just thought it was funny how this individual thinks Japan and China are the same.

this is some what true.... but if Im telling the individual that I am a certain nationality... then there is a problem if the individual keeps changing it to something else.. hahahaha

ex:

a:"I am from Japan"
b (wrong answer): "I love Chinese people"
b (right answer): "I love Japanese people"

a: " I was born in India"
b (wrong answer): "Oh, so that makes you Irish... I love Irish people!"
b (right answer): "Oh, so that makes you Indian... I love Indian people!"

When I lived in Spain everyone thought I was chinese, when I was in morocco everyone though I was japanese. Not one person in Morocco said i was Chinese and not one person in Spain said I was japanese.
