Whoa, that's almost solid copper 😛
You could mod it to fit your 6800GT if you've got a high power drill and other tools. I doubt it'll work very well considering the weight, you might need some extra support for it.
 
You also may want to lap the surface to make sure it makes solid contact.
Also, it probably will require extra support.
 
I have a K8N Neo4 and my 680GT sits right ontop of the north bridge. I could probably some of the center fins off and leave space for the video card. That would be amazing.
