i've had a lot of workstudy, research, and other type jobs ... but tomorrow i'm interviewing for my first post-graduation job. i had a few questions:

1) what's a good/courteous way to ask how much i'll be making? should i just outright ask, so how much is the position paying?
2) what are good questions to ask?
3) any tips?

THANKS! atot is the best. 🙂

Do not ask about how much you will be making. Ask in depth questions about the position and/or company. Research the company beforehand. Be calm and answer truthfully.

1) dont ask until you are offered a job.
2) ask what you will be doing exactly, ask about management style, ask about relevant items.
3) dress well, dont be nervous, take a breath mint.

Ask what your work environment will be like. Office or cube (probably cube)? How much space? 100 sq ft of work space and 30 sq ft of desk space is good.

for god sakes don't FART during the interview!

I did and didn't get the job.

PU!!

relax smile don't talk too much. 😀

Ask them questions like:

What is a typical workday like at your company?
What opportunities are there for growth and promotion?
Why did you join the company (and if they have been there for a while), what about the company has kept you there?

Dont slouch, keep fingers lightly locked - dont fold arms, keep eye contact - very important, and be enthusastic. These will put you in a good position and are very important in interviews.
