Hey all,
Have an old (year 2000) "InstallShield Self-extracting Exe" that asks for a password... are there any apps out there that will recover it? I've seen all kinds of password recovery tools for the MS apps and archive formats, but nothing for IS.
Anyone know if such an animal exists?
I did see the post on usenet about hex editing the aa60(?) offset with 6 or 7 different values... didn't work for me - this exe might be a different version from the one he was talking about.
