but its in an deleted item in the system restore DIR
so my virus scanner (norton) finds it, but when it tried to delete the file it gets access denied
i guess M$ is trying to help viruses now, anyway how do i go about getting rid of this virus
its called W32.Roomper.Worm or something like that
 
You will need to burn your system on the stairs in front of a church.
you should have done this last night when the eclipse was in progress, that would have given you better results.


 
Turn off system restore - right click on "my computer", go to system restore tab, click "turn off system restore"

To actually nuke the thing, go and download move on boot and have MOB tank it for you.
