So I have a question about what can be discussed and what not

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2027091 is a perfect example. To me this guy is clearly saying he uses pot illegally, and that a drug test would catch him. While it's not stated, it's pretty obvious. Not that I really care what he does in his own time or anything, but I thought we shouldn't be talking about these things. Yet somehow, everyone's talking about how to beat a drug test, particularly in the case of marijuana, which, last I checked isn't fully legalized in the US yet.

Now I know that pot is somewhat controversial and many people would like to legalize it and so there's a lot of potheads or occasional smokers here who view it as OK. I know that AT also lets certain topics like newsgroups and MP3s, and hints at piracy slide because, well, this is a tech forum. No blatant stuff though, which I agree with as well.

So what's the limit?

Because years ago I posted a news video (KTVU news in San Francisco) talking about people cheating toll by buying a spray to spray their license plates (and even reveals the product itself). Yet somehow my thread was viewed as an encouragement to cheat toll because I had discussed the methods in doing so. While that in itself is flat out unethical, isn't cheating a drug test unethical too? It may not harm someone directly in the sense that it steals money, but until pot is legal and until you're allowed to cheat drug tests for employment, I think this topic in itself is a little iffy. Didn't a similar thread where someone wanted to pass a drug test via cheating get closed down too a few months back?
