So i have a new computer

I was wondering if i could delete XP on my old computer and install it on my new comp? Would there be any cd key issues if i do this?

Does your new PC have a 64 bit CPU? Do you have a copy of 64bit edition xp?

Also xp 64 is still in the beta stages, and is somewhat unstable still.

if your old computer is a Dell or came with a HP or Gatwway version of WinXP you will have to remove it from the old computer and hope it works in the new, im not sure if your legally allowed to move it though, but i suppose if u trash the old comp you can.


If its your own personal copy you can for sure, just remove from old computer... youll probably have to call MS up when u activate because the activation will say you have new hardware.
