I was tempted to head upto Greenwhich (Centre of London) and meet a few mates, but i decided to spend my time with my girlfriend, at home, who in the end left me on my own at 11.30, after telling me she doesnt think we should be together anymore

So i sat and watched everyone party on TV at midnight, and answered my phone repeatedly as each one of my friends rings me telling me they wish i was there and that they were having a great time

No kidding, you have some friends that want you around. And, there'll always be more women. They are a renewable resource.

Ah no worry.

But wtf. Is it just tradition for couples to break up on New Year's?

Were not broken up, but we are on the edge.

She just doesnt *think* we should be together anymore, which IMO, is worse than breaking up...

Im so pissed off, upset, hurt, mad, crazy, loosing it :| :|

What other reason do you need to break up other than the fact that she doesn't want to be with you anymore?

Have some self-respect, man!

she sounds like a drama queen, breaking up with you just before the new year. she could have done it earlier at least then you could have gone out with your friends and drowned your sorrows properly.

dump her....

er.. too late.

That's pretty much a good sign that she has another "offer" on the table. 🙁

no, she doesn't, because we are both hoping things will work out and i know her, we've been together 2 years.

it just sucks that she told me that, then left me on my own to go into the new year.

The least she could of done was stay with me when big ben hit 12 o clock 🙁

Oh well, im gunna watch a movie and try and cheer myself up.

Back later.

Why can't you still go party with your friends? Too far away?
