So I went in for the IT interview, though I am not an IT-related major. A lot of the other people who interviewed told me that they were not asked any technical questions. So I walked in not expecting any technical questions. We started off with some small talk, and then he started asking technical questions!!!!! UGH. Thankfully, I was able to answer about 8/10 of them. They were mainly about java and OOP, trees, graphs, and things of that nature. We also talked a bit about my past experiences. At the end of the interview he told me that I was the only person who had answered his questions correctly today. But throughout the entire interview, I felt like he was hinting that I was a bit young. I am a sophomore, and technically this internship is for juniors so they can be extended full-time offers. So I dunno what to make of the interview.

How do you think it went? Good or bad? I'm still undecided because of the questions he asked....

strange i intereviewed for UBS IT and BoA IT today, Ford IT last week and have JPMorgan IT next next week. I've found the IT interviews to not be very technical more about past work experience. The pure software development interviews I've had: IBM, Mircrosoft, ZS Associates where much more technical.

only technical questions IT has asked me is to compare and contrast java and C++. Then they asked me about OOP and asked what functions would a clock need, then they asked me what functions a light needs. Mainly they asked about teamwork, leadership ability, ability to work with different people and cope with difficult situations.

Microsoft asked me does java support mutiple inheriatnce, whats multiple inheritance, what is a friend class, things of that nature.

So have you heard back from then yet?
